Recent Blog Design Work

I have been working on new blog designs for some fabulous bloggers. It's always a pleasure to get together on a project with like-minded people and help them achieve the best for their online presence. In past month, I did my first rebranding project along with a few custom blog designs. I am sharing some of my favorites on the blog today.

This is the custom blog design for Emma from The Blessed Brit blog. She's a college student and documents her academic life through her blog. As you can guess by the mood board I created for her, she wanted something clean yet girly. So we came up with this watercolor-filled floral look, where I used this bouquet from the talented artist Bella Loves Letters. You can check her blog here >>>

This is the rebranding project I had been talking about. Emma wanted a completely new look with other elements that are rebranding's essentials, like business cards & social media cover. Her style included pastel colors and minimal design. We brainstormed together and came up with a look that was minimalistic yet full of colors. I had taken an unexpected break during this session, but she was sweet enough to wait without any hesitation. She mainly blogs about beauty, but you can occasionally find eatery reviews and other posts as well. See her blog in action here>>>

Rhiannon was the winner of my blog design giveaway. It was really fun to work with her since we had known each other, for long, from Her Campus bloggers' network. She's a college student and a teacher for 8th grade (how cool!) She wanted a clean layout that could rock fashion vibes & other types of posts. We worked on this design for longer than usual since there were many elements like drop down navigation and a post slider (that was eliminated later). It turned out so well. The font used in this design are my absolute favorite. So girly and swirly. To see her design live, check her blog.

Fay wanted something cute and adorable that would match her blogging style. She always has so many cute posts up, including her collections of Tsum Tsum. So, thick brush lettering along with some pastel colors were a perfect fit for her design. Hop over to her blog to see it live.

If you love these, please pin them :)

  7. Very lovely Noor :) I look at the initial impression + layout/flow. If it's too cluttered it's instantly distracting. Also if the contrast is too high. Meh! I love my current layout :) Have a great one Noor! -Iva
