My Favorite Things

It's safe to say I am back to carry on the iGraphy link up. I certainly have missed a lot of things. Including planning beautiful photo. Whew!
Today I am sharing few of my favorite things (since the original list is a tad bit long) that can be photographed. The real happiness is never reflected in material. I got the idea in past few days when it rained after ages and the smell of soil made me realize how serene it was. Or the vibes of adventure travelling gave me, when I sat for hours to move towards countryside at my grands, it was beautiful just to be alone in motion with my thoughts. Happiness isn't materialistic but material can bring a lot of happiness too, if not entirely.

1. R A I N :
I love rain. I have always wished to live in/near a rain forest. Though I am aware how abundance of anything can be overwhelming and not exciting at all. But a girl can dream. The serenity it bring, the sound, the smell and everything related to it, is beautiful. I don't even mind the after-rain puddles. They're gross, I know. I might stop liking them once I slip in one. Which I definitely don't want to help.

2 . S U N G L A S S E S
I have a pretty big collection of sunglasses. Not that I need many, it's just because I love them to a great extent. From floral prints to celeb style, I have achieved the level of sunglasses craze. I don't regret it, errrr!!!!

3. H A N G I N G  O U T
So teenager-ish. I have been a lot more focused on my social life than ever before. Life after school is like, completely manual. You have to move out and find your way in real world. With real people and real plans.

4. B E A C H
Beach is love. LAAHHVVEE! I could spend days at beach without any trouble (oh maybe I'd like some wi-fi over there). People of Karachi are so proud of their beach, since it's the only metropolitan with fancy beaches. Why wouldn't we be proud? Wink.

5. W I L D  F L O W E R S
They happen to be everywhere at countryside. They don't really smell at all so they aren't considered fancy. But I love the sight of them. A pop of color between the wild bushes. I pluck them to make flower crown or decorations.

6. P I Z Z A
So many high fives! for pizza. I would be disappointed if somebody doesn't like pizza. Well, what's not to like? It's cheesy (pun intended). The one in the photo above is a homemade pizza, straight from the kitchen of Hibo (my favorite aunt). It was super delicious.

What are some of your favorite things?

  6. I love rain. Of course I live in the middle of Texas so rain here is hard to come by --we're either in a drought or flooding there's no happy medium! I totally understand your three-slices at a time philosophy. I am the same way. Pizza is one of the main staples of my diet! Your photos are beautiful and you are too!
