|Hanging out in college|
Thanks Lilly for nominating for a fun tag that's Sisterhood of the World. It's been a while since I did a tag post, which I suppose I loved to do back in time. So hurrah!
1) What have you always wanted? Did you ever get it, or are you still wishing?
I have always got whatever I wanted. No matter if that's something tangible or moral support. Perhaps it sounds cliche but that's what I concluded from my life experiences. What I haven't got is something I will be getting, I believe you get what you ask for. So I ask for whatever I want and wait patiently, in the end, it becomes mine.
2) If you could be any age for a week, what age would you be?
I want to see myself in my late twenties. To see if I've achieved everything I was supposed to achieve. If not, then why not? Teenage and childhood is surely filled of sweet memories but I've been looking forward for my grown up years even more. Life as an individual is hard, isn't it? I'd love to see myself as a grown up person and see if I'm doing well or not. I hope I'd be a lot better than now, at least I'd be able to cook, haha!
3) What do you find uplifting?
Family time. I adore being around my family. There are hard times when I put everything beside and cry my eyes out to tell Amma Jaan about stuff went wrong, to Phuppo about different projects and to Baba Jaan about my plans screwed up a bit. I believe everything will be settled after that, as it usually does.
*Amma Jaan = Mom , Phuppo = paternal aunt , Baba jaan = dad
4) What’s the weirdest thing about you?
There has got to be soooo many, haha! What can they be? I am thinking hard....hard!!!
Selfies + photography obsession , perhaps. I really don't care if someone's watching me making faces or adjusting camera on weird angles, I will go on to take photos on any extent. It's weird because I'd feel super weird if someone else did something like this in from of ME. Oppsss!!!
5) What’s the first thing you thought when you woke up?
Snoozing the alarm. That's the first thing I do whenever I wake up. Since I live with alarms these days. Morning, alarm. Afternoon nap, alarm. Dinner , alarm. Sadly, there's no way to get rid of them for now. I even named them stupid phrases but it doesn't seem to uplift my spirits for leaving bed early. Eeekkk!!
6) When was the last time you bought something, and what was it?
I ordered some stuff online, two days before. Some jewelry and gifts for family. You know, being a nice kid costs a lot.
7) Would you rather trade some intelligence for looks, or some looks for intelligence?
Some looks for intelligence. It's better to look like a dork rather than being a dork. Intelligence is a beauty itself. No no, it's not like "you don't have bright skin and green eyes but still, you're pretty ah" that's unrealistic if you compare beauty and brain together. Both have their importance but beauty is something we inherit but not the intelligence. You gotta work for it (unless you're Newtton's adolescent and Physics doesn't bother you like it naturally does to all of us non-Newton kids)
8) Do you have a strong local accent?
Yes, I guess. My first language is Urdu, the national language of Pakistan. My family used to make all of the kids read old stories, filled with proverbs and lessons, to make us acquainted with difficult local vocab and it's been the most helping thing ever. I am aware of its elocution and often find myself adjusting with different local accents with ease.
9) What’s your favourite line from a film?
“You have to do the best with what God gave you.” – Mrs. Gump (from the movie Forrest Gump)
10)Have you ever been the subject of a rumour?
A lot of time. The not-so-perk of being a school (and now college) famous. People like to talk about your back, mainly because they can't come face-to-face. Cowards. Cute.
But I'm glad nothing was too nasty for me to handle. All I heard were plain old and boring statements being spoken out of jealousy so it's pretty much easy to forgive and let go. Though being a part of a rumour is never fun. Never.
Now, here are my questions for you guys,
