Eid - Wonderful Time Of The Year

Eid Muabarak!
I hope you all had a great Eid day , even if you didn't celebrate , I hope you had a fantastic day.
Eid was on 29th of July ,  as expected in Pakistan. To be completely honest , it was one of the best Eids I've ever celebrated. SO many parties + gatherings + outings + EVERYTHING ( ps : add food too as I ate like Hulk , yeah the green ol' Hulk) oh and nonetheless to mention , a huge amount of eidi (money) in my pocket ;)
The night before eid , that we call Chand Raat , was so hectic and exciting. I did my last minute shopping and stayed up till 4 am. It was the reason why I woke up so late. Yeah , I woke up as late as 10 AM morning.  Tsk tsk.
I got dressed up quickly , everyone was soon to be gathered at our house so there was no chance to be lazy. I was trying my new make up stuff , my mascara almost deceived me and I thought I was allergic to it. Ugh! I got ready in 1 / 2 / 3 . Just saying , I applied eye make up twice as at once , it didn't turn out good and I couldn't have sore eyes.
I went to do the Eid salaam to all elders and there there , my eid started.
Mainly , the traditions of eid go like :
Wake up , offer your prayers , dress up , greet your family & friends , eat food & ENJOY! After the 30 days of fasting , Eid is the biggest festival for Muslims all around the world. Though due to it's dependence on moon, there's a difference of a day or two between all countries. Europe and others continents had celebrated Eid on 28th while South Asia and rest had it on 29th of July.
After spending some good family time , me , Areeba and Baba Jaan (dad) set off and roamed around city.

It was the best thing to do , it was little cloudy in Karachi and when it's cloudy in Karachi , you just can't sit inside because it is usually so dang warm.

Hi hi hi
Henna Hands

Henna Hands
This beautiful henna was done by Areesha Phuppo (aunt) .

"And we danced all night to the best song ever"
This CD of One Direction , with all of their cool songs , was being played while I stared at city streets. Perhaps it was Eid or it's just me but Karachi is always so happy and crowdy. You never know , it always seems so busy around here.

When we got back , my pretty little home was buzzing with so many people , all of them were MY people. We may only have this time of the year to get together , but it's always memorable. Barre Baba (uncle) and his family was about to leave for Dubai the very next day so we needed to make it to its best.

Brunch and dinner , yum , traditional foods can't ever be beaten. We had roasts , biryani , some sweet dishes that I don't remember , chicken curries and a lot of things. If I start to look like a penguin , it's all because of that. Haha , it's only the 6th day of Eid. (though Eid is officially celebrated only for 3 days)

Everything has been so awesome , yet fast. August has started already , there's are TWO weddings in family are coming , then college. Seriously , life never stops. It really doesn't. If you want to put a stop over it , it will only get boring. So why , just let things go and be happy. It's simply all about being happy . Wink.
If you have any questions regarding to Eid , just let me know :)
