Motivation Comes For Free

Motivation Quote by Noor's Place

I have never been so motivated in my whole life , as accurate as I remember. Sometimes the roughest situations are the best. For me , beautiful disasters moments happen in such a weird way , eh!!

I was talking to my academic group about the upcoming exams. If you don't know (because I've never told), I'm an academic group leader. My whole group consists of four girls whom are ALL bright students but study under my company. They've been saying me "the best of the best leader ever" but come on , we all live under political circumstances. So I am not going to believe. Or I do? Well , it doesn't matter much.
So today, we were seriously discussing the future , all the upcoming college talk , the crappiness of Physics and Maths and the rest of the stuff only students would talk about (see also: boring)
One of my group member was seriously enthusiastic for the exams while I was pretty much tired with all of the effort and repetitive exams. I almost gave up today. GAVE UP!

Giving up isn't really about losing what you have now , it's about losing whatever you've been doing or loving. I would love to hate this word , give up. But when a few chores work like a pressure cooker. It eventually ends up like that.
I told them what I had been thinking. There's nothing better than good (and free) advice , right? So after a little talk-the-talk , they taught me :

1- If you end your work on time and in a good schedule , there's no stress or tension.
2- If it's boring , leave it for a while.
3- If you hate it , you should keep hating. Until you've ended it so there'd be no connection for a lifetime.
4- You have to complete it in order to get rid of it.
(in regards to hard examination work , duh)
I slept right after I got back from school . Ate a lot and have been doing everything on time , which is the pretty big accomplishment itself. I hope this motivation stays for a great while. I must have got to do my work under this "motivational air". Wish me luck , tomorrow marks the BIG Physics exam .
This is my lucky and most favourite pen . Parker in silver. I hope I take it with me for tomorrow's exam. Unless , except of being not-so-superstitious , I can turn one gypsy lady right away.

Folks , how do you motivate yourself?

  3. I buy myself a new pen/pencil for every exam week. It's a strange tradition that started 3 years ago and it seems to have been working lol

  4. I tell myself that I'll give myself a reward after I'm done doing whatever I need to do, whether it's watching my favorite show or treating myself to a snack. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Coming up with strategies to motivate myself is something I should work on one of these days... :)

  6. For some reason I can motivate myself when it comes to certain things like cleaning, studying, work but when it comes to working out I just can't do it. I hate that about myself.

  9. Our friend is a high school teacher, named Mr. Parker. We bought him that pen when he was at our place for Christmas last year. We thought it was quite fitting.
Motivation can be hard to come by sometimes. I would say Rob motivates me a lot!
