Once , I Wanted To Be...

I'v set a few goals in my life , one of them is to be loyal to McDonald's forever . But the rest is really realistic . Like life goals and yada yada yada.

Nancy Drew was my secret inspiration crush because I really wanted to be a detective once. I tried hard to find myself a magnifying glass but couldn't find one , except of that in my Science laboratory that I hated to go to. My first case was about a missing cat (that was never found) . In second case, I went to see if there were any bandits in the woods , it was a forbidden place though. Don't detective go to those kinda places?
It turned out a really boring career for someone like me so I ditched it , but I still buy vintage books of Nancy Drew. Who knows if I decide to be a detective eventually?

Then , I thought hairstylists were really famous . REALLY. So I suddenly turned to this glam field , how cool would it be for a person who only knows how to do a braid . That's me.
First off , it wasn't near glamorous.  Dirty brushes , rollers and sprays . So I told myself that it couldn't be my thing.
But I re-think it thrice while I'm in saloon , waiting for my turn or flipping through the pages of super glam magazine of models with perfect messy buns or silky hair flying through air.

Doctorship is the only thing I never wished to go in . Sorry peeps , white coats with stethoscope are scary .
Just because I've been leading Maths as my major , it doesn't feel SO bad to dig those crazy books of equations . I literally asked everyone why the heck Maths was invented . The biggest lesson I've ever learned is to count my shopping bill without pen paper and calculator . So I have quit complaining a lot about Maths. Darn , it's just....useful.

Today , lovely Jess from Living On Sweet Tea is on blog , answering my sponsor spotlight questions . Go read her blog because it's cool . Boom.

1-   If you could describe your life in a paragraph , how would it be?
There was once two roller coasters at an amusement park in central Florida. They were intertwined so every so often you would feel like your momentum would carry you right into doom, and then half a second later you’re in the clear. My life is kind of like that, although not as dramatic. Since the divorce I’ve had the best and worst experiences of my life. Toward the end of 2013 , life has slowed down and I’m finding my footing again.

2- If you could hang out with any celebrity , who would he/she be?
The first person who comes to mind is Gronk. Who wouldn’t want to party with this guy?

3- What's the most important thing you learned from blogging?
Everyone has a story. Big or small, we’re all just living our own lives. There’s no reason for cattiness.

4-  A tip you might want to give to bloggers?
Stop worrying about what people are going to think about you if you put it all out there. It’s you, own it.

  5. Nancy Drew! I remember those books. So cute.. and I think it's great that you collect the old books still. What a neat thing to pass down to your own daughter (one day, faaaaaar from now.) Oh to be a kid again. Between wanting to be a detective, a ghost hunter and a hair stylist.. you sure were a busy little girl Noor!

  7. I wanted to be a LOT of things growing up, even now my list hasn't shortened much. I love learning different things so I find it fun to pick different activities and learn a bit about them int he process, maybe I'll continue them maybe I won't. :) I think you'd like being a statistician.. I think in another life, if I devote myself to math that's what I'd be - I love research and reading various articles about neuroscience and social sciences. Happy Friday love! -Iva

  8. I knew I always wanted to be a teacher. It would switch from a nurse, social worker but would always go back to being a teacher. And as for McDonalds..I can't eat that. Only if I'm desperate.

  9. If I could do it over (well maybe...) Let me say, cosmetology interests me, but I'll never go back to school. I already have two bachelor's degrees and a master's degree..all of which I'm not using or will plan to use. I am (re) working on working for myself and having my own business.

  10. I loved Nancy Drew! I used to race through them just so I could get to the next one in the series. :) Did you ever read the Nancy Drew notebooks?

  11. The "what will you be when you grow up" question is very hard! I don't even remember all the different dream I had. I know I always thought it would be fun to be a stage actress--I still think so, but I hate auditions!

  12. Haha I know how you feel. I've been on several stages of dreaming specific professions as my future career, but then I get bored eventually then move on to another profession. Except the fact that I've always wanted to be an architect/interior designer but I don't think my skills are good enough :p I thought of being pediatrician actually, because I love babies, then I realized I have to go through so many years before I can be one, and I'm always afraid of blood, so, no, thank you.
