Good At Everything

I don't know how normal people choose their future jobs . I always aksed Grandpa how he got into his field of accounts , he would always reply " I just got into it" . Okay , so does it happens this way?
Once , every student in my grade was asked about their future (circa 2005)
Teacher : What do you want to be when you grow up? We're starting from first row , one by one.
The first ones were really random (aka Doctors , engineers and yada yada yada) but some kids marked their words in my mind and I am gonna admire them for the rest of my life.

Random kid #1 : I want to be a bride !
( If only she knew the not-so-perks of wishing something at that age , she would NEVER ever say that)

Random kid #2 : I want to be a teacher so I can punish you all .
( REALLY? I don't think he would be able to do that )

Random kid #3 : I want to be the president of country .
( I actually admired his future plans . I am really sad I didn't request him to low the cost of make up , in case he actually becomes a president someday)

My answer was an innocent one , I thought I was good at everthing so I would be the one who can do anything . Perhaps they wrote it as "Politicians" .

I have Brittany from Life Changes blog on blog today , her blog is about Travels and positivity which is wonderful .

1- If you could describe your life in a paragraph , how would it be?
I am a elementary school teacher living in Northern Va. I have a dog who I love like she is my child. I pretty much live a normal life. I wake up, go to work, come home, eat, watch tv and go to bed. Then the next morning I get up to do it all over again. That is what made me start my blog and want to travel more. I needed to find a way to get out of the day to day grind of life and start living. My job is what makes me the most happy but outside of work I am trying to create new experiences to help me grow as a person and not be stuck in a rut.

2- If you could hang out with any celebrity , who would he/she be?
This is a hard one. If I could hang out with a celebrity it would be Kanye West. Weird right? Well I would just like to see how he is in his daily life. If he really is as arrogant as people think. How he handles just every day life being at home with his baby North and the people he trusts. He can't be what the media portrays.

3- What's the most important thing you learned from blogging?
It is important to blog consistently. There have been so many blogs that I just stopped following because there were never any updated posts. The bloggers would eventually come back and say they were busy and then start blogging again and of course stop. Depending on how serious you take it.. blogging in a way can be like a job. You wouldn't just show up to work one day and then take a month off would you?

4- A tip you might want to give to bloggers?
Stay true to yourself and remember the real reason you started blogging. Are you blogging for yourself or for other people? We can get caught up in the page views and the follower count that we stop remembering the real reason we started in the first place.

  5. Ahhhh who knows what we are all meant to be doing. Our generation will change their career on average about 8 times, so we get to shake things up ;)

  7. It's so hard to know what you want to be.. I still don't really know even though I guess I should consider myself, "grown up"..! It all has to do with circumstances!

  8. I think your grandpa is right - things just happen. We don't have the answer to everything but as you learn about yourself and who you are you start to realize what you enjoy. I wanted to be a Veterinarian when I was in elementary school then my mother said I had to work with snakes and I said THAT'S OUT. I've been in the realm of social sciences ever since and now work in IT. Life happens. I made fun of my dorky friends who studied IT and now I'm in it. Life love jokes kiddo. :) Have a great one Noor! -Iva

  10. That's definitely advice I want to give to my future kids - you can do anything! I am definitely like your grandpa. I've pretty much fallen into all my jobs, including my current ones. The world works in mysterious ways.
