A weekend tale

Hello world , I am trying to make sure my voice isn't come from a big digged hole because it feels so right now . My WHOLE week/weekend flew by the pace of an aeroplane .
I literally rested all the week but on weekend , I was at my mom's cousin house . That sweet lady , with a little family and a cute neighbour kid . That was a complete treat to enjoy .

- We watched Tangled and I cried at most of the parts . C'mon , it's such an awesome movie so I couldn't resists . But okay , her hair could look freaky at moments.

-Aunt had made us delicious spaghetti with a cheese layer . I never knew how much I'd eat everyday .
- I have realized NOT to put your tablet on driving mode . If you do s , it'll be repeating whatever comes on screen . Even if it's about a Candy crush saga update . Gadgets , grow up ! Thankza.
- I chose a mug with a nose . Yes , it had a nose .
oh dear nosey mug

I have been thinking on one thing . The last time I posted was on Friday and since then , I had a lack of motivation and creativity . I am posting after WHOLE three days and it doesn't feel so awkward now . I would have been biting my nails in curiosity that if I might leave a single day of blogging . My blog would be a piece of hell . But it didn't happen . Nope .
So it generated moi an advice . If you don't feel like blogging . Don't do it . Go out and take a walk , blow a whistle or order a cup of tea . There're much more things than keeping your mind around a blog .
Anybody loves French? It's for you :  Garde ton calme et continue de l'avant.
Okay , I missed school for Monday . And I am packing up for tomorrow . Bag done , notes set and I am gathering colourful head bands out of my table to avoid a fashion conflict with school . Haaa , have a great Monday !!

Linking up with weekend shenanigans

Today , I have a pretty guest , my sponsor & friend Rachel from Sunshine and Sinatra . A pageant obsessed and fun-loving buddy . Let's start the talk-da-talk !!!

Noor :  If you could describe your life in a paragraph , how would it be?
My life in a paragraph? I mean I wish I could have THAT much of an exciting life that could take up more than a paragraph. Alright let's see. Besides you knowing that I'm Rachel, I'm a college blogger in the U.S (Jersey to be exact.) Despite rumors from the sassy gudios and guidettes named Snooki/Pauly D/etc...I am here to tell you I do not pump my fists NOR gas. Crazy right? Yea it is except when I'm driving in other stays I am how you say... "le screwed"? Anywho, I love some good sarcasm, a jar of peanut butter, strawberry tea, instagramming my outfits on the daily, and pageants. I am seriously the biggest Francophile I know. Nah sorry to dissapoint ya but it isn't defined as "love for the Franco brothers" (however, I do love me some Francos! #Yum), but I have had a dream to visit Paris since I was a little pip squeek at the age of 5 when my parents would sit me down to watch Madeline with a box of fruit loops and apple juice. My favorite movie is Midnight In Paris and Lizzie McGuire, hence my yearning to travel. You can never go wrong with some Lizzie McGuire. I wish I was a fashion blogger but let it be know I have a closet full of trendy clothes, however grab the leggings and a tee and I'm out the door for my 9AM. Being a college blogger is tough for I need to balance BOTH my schedule but it is my favorite hobby! Phew. Maybe you learned a bit? If not come hop over to my blog!

Noor : If you could hang out with any celebrity , who would he/she be?
NOOR WHY DID YOU ASK ME THIS QUESTION I COULD GO ON FOREVER. You see, if you go to the top search bar on my blog and type in "Pageants/Alyssa Campanella" you will be flooded with the answer. My celebrity biffle would have to be Alyssa Campanella. She was Miss USA 2011! She's a jersey girl at heart and the greatest part? She knows I EXIST. We tweet at each other from time to time; it's casual.

Noor : What's the most important thing you learned from blogging?
The meaning of friendship. I've made great internet besties. Heck I've even met one of them! It was really cool how it all happened. And I was nervous I would be catfished. And our boyfriends at the time tagged along and they even thought it was cool too. Mind you my boyfriend was a complete ball of awkward but, I think we all had fun. We went to DC and site saw as much as we could in about 24 hours. I've learned also that the time you put into it, is the amount of satisfaction you will get back. Sometimes I spend days not getting any comments (YES I'm still a baby blogger at heart), and I sit there and want to cry and curl up in fetal position and watch Desperate Housewives on netflix til my mind turns to goo. But honestly, what matters is the heartwarming comments here and there, when people they tell me they read my blog avidly and I make them giggle. Thanks y'all! (Sorry I'm not southern. I do wish I was. I love me some southern lookin' boys. and by southern I mean preppy. Sorry cowboys, you can go shave your back now).

Noor : A tip you might want to give to bloggers?
My biggest tip would to be for you to read other peoples tips. I learn a lot. You think you know a bit about a subj, but you obvi want people to read the stupid crap you want to post about so you need to see what YOUR READERS (or spirit animal bloggers..Like Whit @ I Wore Yoga Pants To Work) have to say about things. And just remember, keep on truckin'. People will find you and your blog and fall in love in no time! Make sure to branch out ;) Rgords out. Make sure to follow me on instagram!

  1. Aw that cup is absolutely adorbs!!!!!!! :)
YAY love your blog and my face taking over it a bit ;) lol!

  2. I love that advice - "if you don't feel like blogging, don't." It took me a long time to realize that is the truth. I also used to get very stressed if I didn't blog every day, and then I realized that I'd still have readers if I cut it down to 3 times a week. And the last month has been so busy that I've only been blogging once some weeks. It feels strange, but the important part is that my life continues, and lo and behold, my blog hasn't fallen apart without my constant attention! I LOVE that you posted this!

  3. You seem refreshed Noor! A visit with your mom's cousin and a little break from Blogland was just what you needed.
I agree.. you have to just WALK AWAY.. when you don't have any inspiration and just put the damn computer away! I have a problem with that as of lately. (Getting OFF of the computer) But I just close it and remember, all of Blogland will be there, just where I left it when I return.

  4. I 100% agree that if you don't feel like blogging, you probably shouldn't!

  5. We really do develop friendships from blogging don't we. We are kind of like a family :)

P.S. Now following you on Twitter!

  6. Cuuuuuuuuuute mug! I watched Tangled this weekend too! I cried at most parts also :)

  7. I had the exact same feelings this weekend! I did keep to my regular blogging schedule but I cut out anything blog related at the weekend like promotions, etc. and I feel so much better for it. Don't feel like it? Don't do it. Great motto!

  8. Great interview :) I am still stuck in my rut after the holidays. Gonna try to back on the blogging saddle soon. Probably this week.

  9. Great interview! And I completely agree with what you said about not feeling the need to blog every day or if you don't feel like it. It's supposed to be a fun outlet, so I like that you made me keep this thought in mind:)

Thank you for reading my blog. Leave a comment & share your thoughts with me :)
