Why I upgraded to Passion fruit Ads

Since Passion fruit ads announced their monthly fees . It's been the talk of the town , preferably blog town . Many blogggers (including me) were in quite dilemma of upgradation or not-to-upgrade.
Though passion fruit is no doubt a premium service and I guess there's hardly any other same service as pf .
But the first question in my mind was "is it okay to upgrade ?" I was being nostalgic .
But I made up a list that has got my all answer . Probably you'd have same concerns so we can see it.

I gotta give back:
Since I started doing sponsorship,  many peeps joined me so it was on me to bring traffic for them as well as for my own blog . That obviously required sponsorship on other blogs, so if I could make money with my own blog , I had to give my blog something in return . As pf service was suitable for it , I went for it. Just as give something and have something.

An appreciation :
Say or not , but it's an ad network. If people have been using it for free for so long , it may cause a little lose . Quite like I do a blog design but don't get paid . My first reaction would be....... WHY ? I did your work and you're not willing to pay. I am not saying about swaps,  I did them myself . But if passion fruit is needing their appreciation now,  it's fair.

Depending on blog:
When I first started sponsorship,  I was a middle sized blogger. So of course it wasn't a piece of crown and didn't work well . I learned to grow my blog , making a network and a good traffic. Then I went through sponsorship again. This time , it worked. So it's all about size as well . I bet once you're super fit for all things needed for good sponsorship,  it wouldn't hurt you to use pf once again.

Perhaps that're the reasons I have been here , but it's just a deal . If I keep making bucks with it , I willl carry on . If I am not , perhaps I wouldn't use second time . Just keeping a room to try everything . Let's see what happens.

Enough said, now if you're doing it all manually,  here goes some advices.
1-  If you're doing it without any ad service,  be sure yo're keeping an eye on ad dates and handling. With right size and stuff.
2- To check how ads are doing progress,  use a short linking (like Bit.ly or Buffer app) to keep the click history and ads progress.
3- Some other ad networks instead of passion fruit?  You can see Adproval ( it uses amazon payments instead of PayPal and therefore is only available for US ) or skyscraper ads.
4- Use hyperlink that includes nofollow tag and opens in new tab so your blog can't be ignored.
With all that , if you're not using pf , you can still buy ads from other blog shops . So it's like invest on your blog till it's a downtown typo ;)

I hope something here would have helped you . Moreover I am giving a discount on ads to celebrate and bound my sponsorship . 50% off , yes whole tight packed deal of 50% ( am I not being super generous? ) Use code " YikesPF "
Don't go because it won't last long. Heck yes. #ComeAndGetItInNoorsStyle
If you have any questions , just tell me . Perhaps I could help .
So what's your PF story? Will you upgrade or not?

Today , here's Ellie with me to enjoy a cup of coffee ( quite virtually *HMMM*) . She's my fellow blogger and definitely an adorable + sweet girl . She blogs over Serendipitous Whimsicality with her best friend . Recently , she has returned from Guatemala . So let's talk with her for a little while :)

1- What's the most fun thing about blogging?
The most fun thing about blogging is connecting with other people from around the world....hi Noor! I love hearing from other bloggers and getting to "know" them through their blogs etc.

2 - One very random fact about you?
I hate all things that involve potatoes...french fries included! I know, I know, it's so weird. For some reason I've just never liked them! (Oh no Ellie , I am crying )

3- Complete the sentence : I can't wait for......
A break from school! And it hasn't even started yet...that's probably not a good sign...whoops!

  3. I did ads for a while but in the end stopped I felt I couldn't give what I should to my advertisers to help promote them - it will be interesting to see how people adjust to this new way of paying for passionfruit ads.

  8. So far, I don't do any advertising and I don't make money on my blog. I do reviews and sometimes get some really nice things to review. I probably should look into paid advertising but have no idea where to start. Thanks for the advice.

  16. I was using Passionfrut Ads before they changed the system. I haven't really sold many ads on it, though, so I'm not too sure if I'm going to upgrade or not. I am sure I may eventually in the future, though.

  21. I signed up for Passion Fruit's free trial and I have to admit, I didn't find the value in it. I am sure this was user error since I didn't have a lot of spare time during the month that I had the free trial to devote to reading their tutorials and implementing their suggestions.

  22. I'm "on the fence" about PassionFruit Ads at the moment. I have a great service through Zemanta that I love that integrates well with my blog. I've seriously been giving some thought to doing away with some of the affiliate programs I currently belong to and going with Zemanta exclusively. We shall see!
